Geotechnical studies for civil and industrial construction projects prepared in compliance with NP 074/2007

Our company owns and operates the following geotechnical drilling equipment:

a). Drilling installation with blow – the investigation depth = 12,00m;
- the machine works in dry system;

b). Manual drilling installation - the investigation depth = 15,00m;
- the machine works in dry regime with casing;

c). Mechanical drilling installation – the investigation depth = 40,00 m; - the machine functions with drilling fluid (bentonite and substances based on polymers)

In addition, our company owns a set of equipment used for:
- collecting disturbed and undisturbed samples;
- determining the consistency and compaction of sand and gravel (Standard   Dynamic Penetration in the drillings);
- pumping out and sampling underground water to determine the hydro-geological parameters of the aquifer etc.

The samples collected from our geotechnical drillings are sent for analysis to geotechnical laboratories certified by ISC (INCDIF Bucharest, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics – University of Bucharest).

Hydrogeological, water usage and environmental studies

- Our company provides hydrogeological studies necessary for obtaining the INHGA certification when developing drinking and industrial water source drillings;

- Our team has long-term experience of preparing the documents needed for obtaining the authorization for expoatation of underground water resources (request for approvals from Romanian Water Agency);

- Environmental Techincal Reports (in compliance with Order 860/2002) for obtaining the Integral Environmental Approval;

- Public Health Technical Reports for obtaining Public Health Department Authorization

- Veterinary Sanitation Technical Reports for obtaining Veterinary Sanitation Department Authorization;

- Environmental impact assessment studies in compliance with order 863/2002;

- Environmental assessment level 0, I and II in compliance with 184/1997

Our engineers can determine the level of contamination in soil and groundwater using the ATLAS Copco Cobra drilling equipment. This drilling equipment uses roto-percussion technique and drilling heads with diameter of 50mm for continous collection of samples, through dry method, including collection of soil samples. Our drilling method ensures the detailed geotechnical characterisation of all penetrated layers. The drillings performed by our engineers can also be used for underground water sample collection.

All soil and underground water samples collected through our geotechinical drillings are sent for analysis to laboratories certified by Ministry of Environment.
